About Lmodire
Lmodire is a free website for playing board, card, sports and puzzle games in a browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create. You open a page and press Play.
Who runs Lmodire
Lmodire is an independent website run by ityes, who chooses the games and looks after the site. You can write directly to ityes22@gmail.com.
Why we built it
Many free game sites bury the game under pop-ups, fake download buttons and hundreds of near-identical titles. We wanted the opposite: a selected collection of games that people already love, such as Chess, Solitaire, Ludo and penalty shootouts, each on a clean page that loads quickly, including on an ordinary phone connection.
What you will find here
- A selected collection of games. We prefer classics that are easy to learn and worth returning to over a huge catalogue.
- A page for each game. Each page explains how to play and offers practical tips, so you are not left to guess.
- Guides to the rules. Our guides explain games such as chess, solitaire and 8 ball pool in plain language, along with the strategy behind them.
Where the games come from
The games themselves are made by independent developers and distributed through GameMonetize, an HTML5 game network. They run in a frame on our pages, and the rights to each game belong to its developer or publisher. The descriptions, how-to-play sections, tips and guides are written for Lmodire.
How the site makes money
Lmodire is free because it is supported by advertising. Some games show short ads before or between rounds, and the site may also show ads from advertising partners such as Google. Ads never decide which games we list, and we never ask you to click on them. You can read how this works in our privacy policy.
No gambling
Everything here is played for fun. We take no payments, offer no real-money play and award no prizes, including in card games such as rummy.
