About Four Colors
Four Colors is a fast shedding card game in the style of UNO. You play against up to three computer opponents, and the first to empty their hand wins.
It is a good choice for a five-minute break. The rules are simple, a game moves quickly, and action cards keep the lead changing hands right up to the last card.
How to play
- Each player starts with seven coloured cards. One card is turned up to start the pile.
- On your turn, play a card that matches the top card by colour or by number.
- If you cannot play, you draw from the deck.
- Use action cards to disrupt the other players.
- When you are down to one card, press the 1 button straight away, or you risk having to draw.
- The first player with an empty hand wins.
These are the usual rules. If the game shows you something different on screen, follow the game.
Tips
- Keep your wild cards for the end, when you most need a way out of a colour you cannot match.
- Switch to the colour you hold the most of. It keeps your options open for longer.
- Use attack cards on whoever has the fewest cards left, not on whoever is next.
- Get into the habit of pressing the 1 button early. Forgetting it is the most common way to throw away a win.
