Crossbar Challenge

No goalkeeper, just you and the bar. You get 15 shots to hit metal and score.

About Crossbar Challenge

Crossbar Challenge is the training-ground game every footballer knows. There is no keeper and no wall, just you, the ball and the bar. You get 15 shots, and you score by hitting metal rather than the net.

It sounds easy until you try it. The crossbar is a narrow target from outside the box, which is why professional clubs turn the challenge into viral videos. The game strips football back to accuracy.

How to play

  1. Line up the shot and look at the crossbar.
  2. Swipe or drag to shoot, using the length and direction to set power and aim.
  3. Hit the bar to score points. Anything else is a miss.
  4. You have 15 shots, so make each one count.

These are the usual rules. If the game shows you something different on screen, follow the game.

Tips

  • Change one thing at a time. If you were too high, keep the direction and shorten the swipe.
  • Build a repeatable swipe. The best runs come from the same motion each time.
  • Pay attention to where your misses land. They show you exactly what to adjust.
  • Do not rush. With only 15 shots, take a moment before each one.
