About Sudoku
This classic Sudoku suits everyone from beginners to advanced players. Choose Easy mode if you want to relax and train your brain, or try the Hard, Very Hard and Insane modes if you want a serious challenge.
Sudoku uses numbers, but it needs no maths at all. It is pure logic, and every puzzle can be solved without guessing. That is why so many people use it as a daily habit to keep their mind sharp.
How to play
- Pick the difficulty level you prefer.
- Fill in the empty cells with the numbers 1 to 9.
- Each number can appear only once in every row, every column and every 3×3 box.
- Finish the grid to complete the puzzle.
These are the usual rules. If the game shows you something different on screen, follow the game.
Tips
- Start with the rows, columns and boxes that are nearly full.
- Look for a number that can only go in one place within a box.
- Keep track of possible numbers instead of guessing.
- If you get stuck, move to a different box and come back with fresh eyes.
