About Archery Training
Archery Training is a simple test of aim. You shoot arrows at a target and try to land them in the centre. Each time, the wind gets stronger, so a shot that worked a moment ago will not work now.
Reading the wind is what makes this game interesting. Instead of pointing straight at the middle, you have to judge how far the arrow will drift and aim to the side. It works with a mouse or a touch screen.
How to play
- Look at the target and check the wind.
- Aim with your mouse or finger.
- Release to shoot the arrow.
- Try to land each arrow in the centre as the wind increases.
These are the usual rules. If the game shows you something different on screen, follow the game.
Tips
- Check the wind before every shot, because it changes the result more than anything else.
- Aim into the wind, so that the arrow drifts back toward the centre.
- Use each shot to learn. Note how far the last arrow drifted and correct for it.
- Take your time. There is nothing to gain from rushing a shot.
Questions about Archery Training
Why do my arrows miss the centre?
The wind pushes your arrows off line, and it gets stronger as you go. Aim to the side to make up for it.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. It works with a mouse or a touch screen.
